Addiction Support for the Entire Family
Substance Abuse Affects The Entire Family
Addiction is a daunting disease that destroys the physical and mental health of everyone that it touches. This means that it affects both the person inflicted with the disease, as well as their family members and loved ones. Bradford understands this, which is why we have established our Family Program to provide addiction resources, information, and support for the loved ones of people with substance use disorders.
Led by Bradford Team Members and Recovery Advocates, our Family Program teaches what the disease of addiction truly is and how the process of recovery works. Family therapy will help the family grow a deeper connection with their loved one. This in turn will improve the chances of recovery for their loved ones and give them insight into what he/she is going through.
We cover many topics to ensure a complete understanding of the disease of addiction, including:
- Disease of Addiction
- Recovery & Relapse Process
- Treatment Process
- Codependency
- Enabling/Disabling vs. Helping
- Ongoing Treatment Planning & Levels of Care
- Al-Anon Meetings
- Boundaries
- Healthy Communications
With this free, online program, family members and friends can help improve their loved one's chance of success along the road to recovery. It is important for family members to understand what is happening with their loved one during the recovery process and our Family Program is a great place to start.
