A Life of Sobriety and Success
Young adulthood is a distinct period in life.
For young adults, emotional experiences are more intense and energy levels are higher. In this unique phase of adulthood, substance use often leaves a young person emotionally distant, mentally consumed, and spiritually empty. At Bradford, we recognize that those ages 18-25 often require an approach to addiction treatment that addresses the unique circumstances of this crossroads of adolescence and adulthood.
Our research-based, whole-person approach tailors traditional rehab programming to focus on the five key features of emerging adulthood: identity exploration, instability, self-focus, feelings of in-between, and possibilities.
Our professional staff also addresses challenges such as increased risk-taking, experimentation, decreased accountability, frequent changes within work, school, and relationships, and bias towards optimism about themselves and the future.
