Drug and Alcohol Rehab for Nurses, Doctors and all other health care providers

The addiction treatment that Bradford’s Healthcare Professionals Program provides is geared to physicians, nurses, dentists, pharmacists, veterinarians, and other healthcare providers.

This program addresses the special demands and pressures placed on these professionals – which can cause stress, burnout, depression, and the abuse of alcohol and drugs. Because many healthcare providers have easy access to controlled substances, they face triggers and temptations that few people in other professions encounter.

The goal of the Healthcare Professionals Program is to help each patient start their path to recovery, and to address any licensing issues and facilitate the patient’s return to professional practice.

Proven Success in Addiction Treatment in Healthcare

We’ve provided treatment to doctors, nurses and other health professionals from more than 40 states across the country. We conduct more than 400 assessments for health professionals annually.

Upon admission, a comprehensive, multidisciplinary four-day evaluation begins. This period includes medically supervised detoxification, if needed, as well as an introduction to the treatment process.

Features & Benefits

  • A team of specialists from relevant disciplines conducts a physical exam, lab tests, psychosocial and psychiatric assessments and more.
  • This evaluation has proven extremely effective in diagnosing problems and developing an individualized treatment plan.
  • The treatment team develops a plan, determines the suggested length of stay, and reviews the recommendations with each patient.
  • Care for each patient includes guidance on returning to his or her professional area.
