Koru Spring provides comprehensive care for women with eating disorders at the residential, partial hospitalization (PHP), and intensive outpatient (IOP) levels. With medically monitored detox for drugs and alcohol available through our sister facility, The Rose, residents receive consistent support without needing to transfer programs. This continuum of care offers the time, resources, and structured environment needed to foster both mental and physical recovery while allowing residents to build and practice essential life skills for lasting wellness.

Koru Spring welcomes adult women of all identities, offering treatment for various eating disorders, including anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, OSFED, and ARFID. Our team also supports individuals with co-occurring conditions such as addiction, depression, trauma, and anxiety.

How does the evaluation process work?

The first step is to call us at 855.797.2268 to speak with an admissions specialist. During this call, we’ll discuss your health and history with food, share details about our program, and determine if Koru Spring is the right fit for your recovery journey.

How long will I stay?

The length of stay is individually tailored, as eating disorders are complex conditions that affect multiple facets of life. Our experienced team determines each resident’s treatment duration to support optimal recovery outcomes.

What kinds of therapies are offered?

We offer group and individual therapies, including DBT, expressive therapy, and nutrition therapy. Experiential therapies, such as music, art, and equine therapy, are available for medically stable residents. Our team is also trained in trauma-informed care to create a safe, welcoming environment.

Who is on my treatment team?

Your team includes MDs, master’s level therapists, a registered dietician, exercise specialists, and aftercare coordinators. This collaborative team works with you to create a personalized treatment plan and establish recovery goals.

Can I smoke?

Smoking is allowed in designated outdoor areas during specified breaks. We also provide tobacco cessation tools and products for those interested.

Can I access my cell phone?

Residents have access to their phones each evening.

Can my family come to visit?

Yes, family visitation is held every Sunday.

Can I exercise while at Koru Spring?

Residents with medical clearance can participate in restorative yoga, guided by our exercise specialists, as part of a balanced stress reduction and health approach.

Do residents leave campus for meal outings?

Residents practice food engagement in various settings, from group cooking to enjoying a snack off-site at a local café, preparing them for life beyond treatment.

Do you accept residents with nasogastric (NG) tubes?

Yes, we accommodate residents with NG tubes.
