Family Support Program
Addiction is a family disease. Its reach stretches far beyond the person suffering from drug or alcohol dependency.
Among family members, a loved one’s addiction can cause anxiety, fear, alienation, depression, financial problems and more. That’s why services that support relatives are so important in a loved one’s treatment for – and recovery from – addiction.
The services we offer help patients and their families heal, individually and collectively. We encourage family members and other loved ones to take part in our programs … including Inpatient, Intensive Outpatient, Outpatient and Continuing Care.
Also, we recommend that family members attend Al-Anon and Alateen meetings in their local community.
Families are educated about the disease of addiction and how it affects their loved ones and the family as a whole. They learn that their support and involvement are important to the healing process.
